How customers sign up for TradePilot appointment texts

TradePilot Apps, LLC

1. The contractor asks

When a customer books service, or during a visit, the contractor’s office staff or technician asks:

“We use TradePilot for scheduling. Can TradePilot text this cell number when your visit is booked and when your technician is on the way? It’s usually 1 to 3 texts per visit. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Terms are at tradepilotco.com/sms-terms.”

2. Staff record the yes

Only if the customer says yes, staff tick “OK to text” on that cell number in TradePilot. The box is unchecked by default, and TradePilot texts only numbers where it’s ticked.

TradePilot new-customer form with a cell number entered and the OK to text box ticked, next to the consent script staff read and the confirmation text TradePilot sends.

3. TradePilot confirms

TradePilot then sends:

TradePilot: Valley Air signed you up for appointment texts from TradePilot. Usually 1-3 msgs per visit. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
